Early signs can be more subtle than these obvious problems. By the time they reach even this level, there have been other worrying symptoms. Is there anything that can be done at this very early stage to slow down the pace of decline.
I have had short-term memory problems for years. And I have always had a problem remembering people's names. And I have been forgetful all my life. At 70 though, I still put in 14-hour days driving a semi.
All I can say is people shouldn't get any anxiety if any of these things happen to them once in a while.
I led such a wild life, I never thought I would make it to 40 and most of my friends are dead. So I'm not going to feel any anxiety about this video.
Is dementia caused by sleep aids and alcohol at all reversible or can it be slowed?
My wifes dad has Dimentia .There is no cure .He wears a patch thats supposed to help but it does not.Maybe in 20 years with AI they can find a cure.
Sounds like menopause
He just described Donald Trump
wait uh why im I here agian?
All true, except there is nothing you can do as a caregiver…..just ride it out and try to survive and grow from it. 😢
Interesting
My grandmother had dementia and my mother has it, it is creeping up on me. Paranoia is a common early symptom. Memory problems can be normal, difficult to distinguish from dementia at first.
Another thing prayers can't cure. I mean literally there's nothing prayers can cure or help. Whichever god you're praying to, isn't real😂
How do you have this conversation my father takes offense to this and I reinforced that this was not an attack but a concern eapecially with his age but it does not ever seem to go well when brighten up
I was going to leave a comment but I forgot what this YouTube video is about!
Loss of the sense of smell, is also a good indicator, for dementia
A GP recently said to me: forgetfulness alone is not a sign of dementia. We all forget things and it often becomes more noticeable as we get older. Forgetting where you left your keys is something we all experience, and is quite normal – forgetting what to do with your keys isn't…
Is that possible to detect dementia at age of 25 ??
How would you know those five signs if you suffer Dementia?
I sometimes forget specific words, but eventually remember it, but not all the time. But I've had it on and off for 30 years.
No. Not brain cells. The brain cells are working. The synaptic nerve transmission is clouded by amyloid protein plaques. Are you a real doctor?
There are no signs of dementia. There are only symptoms of dementia. Dementia is caused by a build up of amyloid protein plaques in the brain.
#1 sign – you believe that Jesus will someday rise from the dead to save his faithful flock of sheep.
you are a good and caring man. thank you.
What about the person becoming combative and aggressive? Are those symptoms as well? It had become very hard to be around my father without everything turning into an argument.
Having lost someone while they're still alive is the hardest thing.
im 27 and i have symptoms….
Don't forget about the vascular dementia. A lot of vascular dementia symptoms are the complete opposite of alzheimers
My bf is starting to get mean, then he snaps out of it. Also memory loss.
This presenter looks like Alan Turing's doppelganger.
What, if I like dementia?
I'm 38 and I have all these symptoms 😢
My wife has been calling things she does not understand 'thingys' for the last fifty years.
At lest I'm still alive ( I think 🤔?)
My mom has early onset Alzheimer's. It's absolutely a nightmare. She is absolutely in her own world sometimes and even if she sees herself when she is somewhat coherent she absolutely just denies it. Had to take her car away. I have learned to try and think ahead and prevent certain situations. But it's tough Like a light switch
B.
Being under a lot of stress can give you short term memory loss too. Don't panic until you know.
Nobody that has memory issues thinks they have any type of issue. It took me four years to convince my wife to get a neuro assessment for her dementia. When she was officially tested she scored a 12 on the test and by that time did not really understand what that score meant or how low it was. My wife is 61 and has been in full time memory care for 2 years. I now know she was presenting dementia symptoms as far back as age 48, but you never associate these issues with a person that young. Forgetting recipes or fighting with people for no reason are huge indicators for early onset like my wife has now. I call dementia the black hole of medicine as there is no cure or therapy right now, with only a few therapies for people diagnosed very early in their journey.
Why is Americans having the worst dementia, memory and other brain diseases way more than any other country and why are we giving Free Healthcare to millions of illegal immigrants, Somalians before taking care of the American people that have worked hard their entire lives.
So that's how Nietzsche spend last 11 years
