  1. As an EE, and previous tech that worked with heavy machinery gps automation, the engineer team of my favorite movie were my inspiration as a kid. You all worked tremendously more hours than the actors to bring the film to life. The envelope is forever heavy, never stop pushing it.

  3. Even though I've known how this was accomplished for 20 years now, it's STILL mind-boggling that this was even possible. It wasn't until ~1997, when The Lost World was nearing release, that I found out that some of Rexy in Jurassic Park was actually practical effects; not all of her moments, obviously, but just learning that her upper torso was there on set seemed more impossible to me than the science in the movie that brought these animals to life. Stan, much like Steven Spielberg and John Williams, you had an immeasurable impact on my childhood by bringing these kind of creations to life. I WISH I could have been one of those kids running up to you for your autograph!

  4. Jaw dropping that why i see 5 times at cinema thank-you Stan ,Steven and everbody else involved in bringing this astonishing big critter to screen

  5. I watched the movie again today, in 2023. 30 years later.
And it still holds up so well. The animatronics were and still are next level.
It makes a giant difference, that these Dinos were actually on set. They look so incredibly real because they WERE real.
Massive kudos to the workers that made it possible. I've got so much respect for the imagination, talent and craftsmanship.

  6. Imagine if instead of weapons being used in wars and people dieing each country made their own animatronics dynos that ran around getting each other lmao. Crazy to think if AI did it

  7. it must be my dislexia
as i love to find out how things work,
    my brian is essembling
    and disassembling them.

thanks for so many wonderful things that you have
brought to us over the years
    these things are just so amazing (-;

  8. T-Rex T-Rex has no ma'am no mouse no she'll biggest T-rex fight with fights Allosaurus Seabeck bouncing Nightmares of the dark singing T-Rex machine something wasn't right another T-rex fight also the T-Rex have to wrestle

  9. I remember as a kid I went to the museum of science in Boston and they had the actual dinosaurs from the first Jurassic Park movie on display. I was such a big fan of the movie, being in the room with them was for sure the highlight of my year. Just amazing.

  10. I love Dinosaurs so much and when I find out that there was a realistic movie from it i really wanted to see it cuz i Only Knowed Lego Jurassic worldpark there

  11. Sorry, you won't convince me. There's no animatronics. What you did was bringing a real T-Rex back to life – because that thing is out of this world! Jurassic Park and The Lost World – Jurassic Park are the only movies who actually gave me nightmares. You guys are awesome! ❤️

  12. A lot of folks like to crap on CGI work as being inferior, and you're right, it is, but consider this.

Artificial intelligence is reaching a point where it will be able to make CGI look photorealistic. The amount of things AI is doing is absolutely incredible right now and I have no doubt we'll soon have CGI that looks 100% real when they actually put the AI toward that task in a commercial context rather than simply a testing one. They can also get AI to do crazy shit like take video and simulate that same video having taken place in heavy snow or at night, and vice versa, and it looks completely real. It won't be long boys. 🙂

  13. Would it be too expensive to attempt something on this ambitious and on this scale today?? Its amazing you guys were able to pull this off back then.

  14. There is a reason why this T-Rex is so iconic, while the CGI dinosaurs in the newer films feel so dime-a-dozen. I'm not gonna say that CGI doesn't require effort and can't look good, but it will never be as real as an actual, physical object in camera interacting with the cast.
