Would it work with a minkota trova 36 volt riptide?
Would draw to navigate works with a 2022 Terrova hard wire to Xplore 9?
Forced obsolescence from Johnson outdoors…. There is a reason the Helix series is still popular – it works, is relatively simple to use, and it is the least expensive of the whole line-up – and still for sale at Basspro yet it isn't supported anymore. A 4 year old Helix shouldn't be obsolete, most anglers spent thousands a few years ago on Helix products and now if they want to "stay in the game" they have to do it all over again for twice the price. Most anglers upgrade their units one at a time because they are so expensive. The backwards compatibility is crucial to that. Now that is off the table for thousands of Helix owners. Dick move in my book. Most of us are fiercely brand loyal, but this is the kind of stuff that makes anglers consider switching if we're going to have to spend the money all over again on new units when they slowly die – which sucks because I like Humminbird's mapping and side imaging the best. If Humminbird is now making compromises, perhaps I will too. Damn this sucks. Perhaps the brains at Humminbird should have done some research and asked real weekend warrior anglers on a budget what they want to see when a new product line rolls out. Helix 9 G4 – $1400, X9 $1600. Yes that $200 matters when all your other gear is set up for running a Helix and there is no network compatibility as you slowly upgrade your set up piece by piece – which is what us regular guys have to do when the units are so expensive. Rant over….for now
Same in dash system to x9 and explorer9?
If you have $8,000-$10,000+ to spend.
I'm salty that the Humminbird name was dropped for no reason. Convince me this isnt stupid.
does it support navionics?
Looking forward to the new software updates, thanks for being innovative! Best boat control on the market!
So is my new xplore obsolete or can I still buy mega live for it?
Opened up a poop sandwich and telling us it’s chocolate cake
So, does the X Series replace the Xplore or will the Xplore continue to be supported?
Is autochart live finally getting a performance upgrade? So i can view more than half a square mile at a time in less than 15 seconds?
Lol, only compatible with trolling motors after 2024. That's crazy. And it doesn't network with Helix units… great!
