or you can just use coderunner extension to run the code in one click and get the output quicker. But note that coderunner wont work for input/output stream. you have to use file system for that or the good old terminal.

Where are the .o files?
VSCode C/C++ support is significantly lacking. Eclipse is bloated and slow but has by far the most features out of all IDEs.
Make me have access to C/C++ from arch Linux!!!!!!!!!!!!

that debugger experience is bad , also ive heard that its faster to run C and C++ than to run python but ig its commletely opposite

How did you do to generate the code with copilot in visual studio?
I'm sorry but until the VSCode c++ debugger gets data watchpoints and multiple natvis support, never going to touch this.
