My (Very Honest) Four Seasons “Yacht I” Review

Thank you for watching, it means a lot. This video cost me $28,100+ and three weeks to produce; my biggest Youtube project yet. I hope you enjoy!

The Four Seasons Yacht I is the largest launch in the cruise space this year, and is the next evolution in luxury cruising after the Ritz Carlton yachts. But does it live up to the Four Seasons name? Or was it a quick cash grab to capitalize on a trend? I did a full review to find out. 🛳️

  1. Over the last weeks it has been tough reading about the outbreaks of Norovirus and Hantavirus recently on cruise ships. Although that wasn’t the case on our sailing, we got lucky and don’t take that for granted. My heart goes out to those affected and their families. Stay safe out there.

  2. Wait… did they misspell "quiet" on the drink menu at 38:07? I think it'd make more sense than "The Quite Grove". Yet another example where when you look for more than half a second, quality control is noticably absent.

  3. I really appreciate your videos and find them highly informative. I do question how generous you are with the room score on this particular video. Cold showers, smelly water, and broken infrastructure in the room and you still scored it as you did? What would it take to get a score of 1 or 2 for you? With how you rated this room, I’d hardly think it possible to ever get to a 1 or 2, which makes me skeptical about your range. It’s important when using a score of 1-10 to truly differentiate meaningfully, and this feels like a missed opportunity. That aside, thank you for doing these amazing videos! I love them!

  4. NOTHING Spanish or Mediterranean about this diet. Avocado? GREEK yogurt? Parmesan and pecorino cheese? Salmon?🙄 Just call it “healthy Keto”.

  5. 52:36 'the service test is where we do an unusual service request and see how they cope, like, for example, asking for an industrial pressurized hollandaise sauce dispenser'
but your editor messed up the editing of the video! he showed the aftermath of the service test before at 51:40! Very suspect!

  6. imagine paying 70euro per kilo for your tea and complaining its too cheap lmao, does this snob realize diesel has gone up almost 50%?
nobody wants to pay 200eur per kilo for your 'high quality' tea which is the same shit from india as Twinnings sell for 70eur.

  7. What a complete disaster. I'd expect a huge refund. This is absolutely unacceptable. I've had nothing but great experiences at Four Seasons so I must admit this is surprising.

  8. About the balcony door handle: you have to pull it straight up, that's why it was so difficult for you, because you only pulled it half way up! And about the red wax on the pear, that is actually a really good sign, it prohibits air to get into the pear so it stays fresher for longer. Only high quality producers do this. And a question about the button for the shades, maybe they're supposed to be pressed longer, so they close only when keeping pressed? And lastly, maybe that TV was chosen so it doesn't block the view since its 'free standing" and would ruin the feng shui of the room.. but yes, I totally agree there are too many red flags on this ship, what a waste of money! :/
    Kind greetings

  9. Captain Kate was the captain of this ship. She has resigned, supposedly for personal reasons. I wonder if it’s really about all the bad reviews. And your feet are getting very wet in that shower with your shoes on!

  10. Heyy! I’m a Brazillian fan and I really reccomend you visiting Kenoa Resort in Nordeste of Brasil (which for me has the best service ever, they literally make all the staff memorize your name so they aways call you as your name). And I also really reccomend Parador Casa da Montanha in the South of Brasil, which is, for me, my favorite hotel of all time. Both are really famous boutique hotels and I think that you’ll love it!

  11. This whole experience was a huge rip off…from the hollandaise, toenail, and no allergies information i don't think they were ready to launch and should have waited until the yatch was complete.

  12. for 4000$ a day, I expect nothing less than PERFECT, especially not bad water, toe nail, non working conditioner, cold shower etc…that is unacceptable even for a 1 star hotel.

  13. I’m binge-watching your videos and loving them! This cruise was shocking- having no AC in your room, at a Four Seasons? Wow. Did you find out what was wrong with your room’s bottle of water? Maybe you should bring one of those contaminant tester wands like the ones Gordon Ramsay uses in his restaurant rescue shows to see how clean or contaminated things are… I can’t wait to watch the next video! Thank you for making such excellent quality videos and reviews.

  14. I have worked proudly for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts across multiple properties and everything I saw in the video is absolutely against the Four Seasons standards that brand doesnt take lightly. Something went wrong with People&Culture part.

  15. Oh my goodness! As a daughter of a 94 yo mother I completely relate. All we can do as daughters is try our very best to foresee concerns and obstacle’s. There rarely is a trip where there isn’t an obstacle. 😂. sometimes I just wanna wrap her in bubble wrap and put a jet pack on her back to maneuver around.

  16. I'm sorry, I would be more than disappointed. Having traveled the world and had meals and experiences that will forever remain a part of me, this whole segment gives me the feeling of a grift. I couldn't wash that from my wallet, nor my memory.

  17. I can't remember a time when I've physically held me head in my hands watching a review. While I understand launching new brands or products will have its issues, there is NO WAY this ship should have sailed in that condition and certainly without even the simplest issues ironed out in advance. At that (or ANY) price point, "unacceptable" is indeed the correct term for what I just witnessed.

  18. Can we get a review of the Ritz Carton yacht next? I just went on our first cruise with my partner. We went more mainstream since we were unsure of whether we’d like cruising at all and didn’t want to spend too much. That said, we came back and loved it in a lot of ways but the amount of people was a bit overwhelming, the food was lackluster, and the pools were overcrowded. So the luxury side has piqued our interest since we love travelling and visiting interesting luxury hotels.
