Regular ice is usually filled with bubbles, and I think it’s really ugly. What I want is some beautiful ice that’s perfectly clear, and I’m gonna try to make some.

When you broke that piece of ice you called ugly the first time, it didn't bother me much. But when the tray was completely full and you turned it upside down, and started breaking off those crystal-clear, sharp corners along the edges and letting them fall, it broke my heart. I had the urge to eat them, and I felt a really strange sensation—my teeth started itching just wishing someone would hand them to me to eat.
