I mean either way, this is a great interpretation of Saitama being integrated in the series. Him realizing he needs to get stronger to actually face the big bads of this verse, and willfully (probably excitedly) trains in a brutal way to try and match them, but then ends up overdoing it AGAIN, and becomes OP through DBZ logic is a really funny way to put him in here
