Not one of these people who spit the words communism and socialism out of their mouths like a bad taste they can't wait to be rid of could define them with anything resembling accuracy.
People like Abdul who advocate or defend Islamist extremist ideologies are dangerous. Iran is a stark example of what can happen when an authoritarian religious movement takes control of a country. Millions of Iranians have paid the price through the loss of freedoms, political repression, and decades of suffering.
I’m an Iranian cultural-Muslim (critical of Islam) exercising my right to free speech. Don’t dismiss legitimate criticism as “Islamophobia.” The threat of Islamism is real. You may have Muslim Brotherhood ties at your mosques, your tolerance of extremist mullahs, and the apparent double standard between your men's t-shirt/shorts and the hijab expectations on women deserve serious scrutiny. You prays to a prophet Muslims revere despite his marriage to a 9 year old child and his belief in polygamy (illegal in U.S.A.). Gender segregation, child marriage, hijab, jihad, and killing of infidels. Instead of confronting these concerns, why should we look the other way? Criticize the ideology, question the double standards, and judge the evidence. Freedom of speech must apply to everyone.
