I really don't care about the crease, I had the Fold 3 and you never notice it.
However, I will not buy another Z Fold until they bring the S Pen back and get proper competitive fast charging, it's crazy how slow Samsung phones charge.
For now, Motorola and Oppo are the only options for me.

The scratches on the main screen are non existent. It comes with a screen protector.
That "annoying line" is the last issue when using the phone. Its not even an issue

that fold area never bother me
Thinner in the middle near the crease could lead to cracked screen. The 7 was the thinnest fold they made and my first one where the screen cracked near crease. Granted I rolled over it while laying down but I did the same for the 2, 3 , 4, 5, & Z Fold 6 and no cracked screen. I think the Z Fold 5 was my Favorite because it had s pen and was thicker. But I like the front screen wider. So hopefully the 9 or 10 gives the fans what they have been asking for.
I hv owned z fold 3, 5 and 7. Crease isnt something i care that much otherwise i wudnt like this phone. If its completely flat, its great but i wudnt complaint about it. For who never owned a foldable phone until now. 8th gen was out and yes, 8 years already . it might not be for u so dont switch

Still on the z fold 4 till they bring back the digitizer, can't even see rhe crease unless the screen is off. I had been waiting till faster charging to upgrade but won't upgrade without S pen support.

I had a z fold 6 and now have the z fold 8 and i do t care about the crease its not a big deal honestly idk why everybody always makes it a big thing its not terrible its a great phone atleast it works unlock apples

So it will still be scratchable in the middle, and for people thinking about if they should just get the fold 8, it has a screen protector from the factory that is really really fingerprint resistant and you cant scratch it easy, even if you do, you have right to send the phone in one time and they change the screen protector for free… im writing and watching this video on the closed fold 8 because the thing is just awesome, both screens are great, battery is really good… its a cool phone
I've had the fold 7 for over a year now. I don't see the crease unless you look at it at an angle. ❤ I forget that its even there.

stop towing company lies. the folding screen is JUST PLASTIC. Glass is hardness 5 to 7 and plastics are hardness 2 to 4.

Still have my fold 5 and i love it. The screen protector cracks along the fold but i just peel it off and slap a new one on for 15 bucks
