This is GREAT … Thanks
Does this apply to small AT scooters as well?
I am going to practice this right now.
Thank you (Teşekkür ederim)
Thank you very much for the instruction.

You can't do that on hayabusa
At slow speed when the handlebars are turned you could say that is counter steering as well. It is the gripping of the leading edge of the front tire wanting to go to the larger diameter of the center tread keeping the bike in the turn and not on the ground. When you speed up the turned bars lift the bike up and as the bike stands up (because the bars are turned into the turn) they go straight.
Many thanks 🙏👍✔️
Still the Japanese moto-gymkhna technique is simpler for U-turn. The difference is, at the slowest point of the turn you are several kilometers above motor stalling speed.
The benefit is not using the clutch, one less variable to think about. If the bike is tuned properly to auto-throttle at several kilometers above stalling speed, you do not need to use the the throttle at all, just release the throttle.
An you have several way to initiate the turn. One pattern is with the counter-steering as in the video. The other pattern is to lean the body (just a bit) just before breaking. In that way the bike will auto-steer when decelerating. There are complications beyond the scope of this article so for an easy explanation just use the rear break. The break fine controls the radius, the gaz ends the turn just like in the video.
As for me I like to train both techniques as they are different the classic technique in the video asks you too coordinate many things in the same time, for that reason in many moto schools in Europe they do not teach using the clutch in this type of a maneuver at all, just use the break. Not a single way to make the same maneuver.
Buna ,se poate ca acest video sa poata fi si tradus ?de exemplu in Romana?
This is the best. Thanks!
I practice coming out of a u turn by throttling, it tends to remove the fear of falling for me. Still new, still practicing. I'm 64, takes too damn long to heal lol also I'm riding till there's snow. I don't want to salt my bike up.
Perfect, as ever. Good work 👏
I always appreciate your calm, straightforward explanations (combined with your awesome riding;0)! Thank you!
Love this! But I'm having to adjust: my bike doesn't have a clutch, is a DCT. I'd love to see your pointers for DCT.
대단히 감사합니다.ㅎ
Excellent video, thank you from Dallas!
What a gorgeous road 09:30 😎👍
Sometimes I just forget that I ride a freaking Honda ADV160 and doesnt have a clutch.
excelente video, muchas gracias ruso querido !!
Как Челябинск-то похорошел!
excellent! 😉
rear brake is where the magic is
Excellent instructional video as always 👆👍
dude… i’m surprised you do this without realizing but you do NOT simply counter steer. put 1:39, playback speed 0.25: you’ll see that you lean a bit to the right before turning to the left. you just ever so slightly steer to the left, that makes you lean a bit to the right so you can steer more aggressively to the right and lean more to the left. you COUNTER-COUNTER-steer. i learned this when i used to park my bike in a garage and i had to do a tight u-turn to get the o my spot
13:05 is that mrs moto control?
All things that are worth reviewing every so often! I ride damn near every day, and I feel pretty confident in U turns, but there are little things I don't think about that could help me improve that I picked up on during this one!
Excellent. This is some of the best advice and so well presented. Thank you.
Thanks. I'm dizzy now… 😜
But seriously, thanks for this and all you do for bringing more people to moto life.
Love the videos!
I have a request, I think the others have mentioned it here as well. It's easy to do a u turn in perfect parking lot conditions. I'd love to see a video on u turns in smaller back roads with curbs, or when the road conditions aren't ideal like doing u turns in roads with pot holes and gravel or speed breakers, or u turns on an inclined road (facing up or down), and maybe doing all of this from a stopped position? U turns from a stop still make me nervous. I'm from the Philippines so our roads are often very tight, very bad, and with terrible conditions so these videos would be a huge help!
The best explanations. This clear language is exclusively used by the ones who understand the matter they talk about. All the best!
Hello, ""MotoControlEn"" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That’s why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or ig or where?"

everything you hear in this video is assuming you have good tires, always check your tires
I was kinda struggling with full lock turns but after watching your video today, i went out and tried what you suggested don't fight the handlebars and just let them do their own thing and it worked like a charm.
Thanks for the info.
Do this video again on a supersport
I would love to see a video explaining low speed turns on a steep hill. To enter my road there is a 135 degree turn with a 10 degree slope dropping down, and I struggle with it on my Road King. I haven't dropped the bike, but it's been too close for comfort. Also the road I'm entering from is heavily traveled, and my road is entered from the middle of a 90 degree turn. Thanks!
I find that when I turn the handlebars in too far, the wheel wants to tighten the turn too much. What can I do?
Thank you for that video. Friction zone – what you do with clutchless bikes like BMW GS 1300/ MY09 Y-AMT?
🎉❤😊 You really should offer this class down to the Stelvio Pass. 😊
With my hope less rider struggle in curves and stop „walking“ with the bike, instead driving with skills and more fun. ❤😊
This is by far, the most in depth lesson on slow speed maneuvering on YT, and I used to teach these techniques.
The best Chanel for learning or keeping skills up to date hands down 👊🏼💥👌🏼
