I love u up. I’m a subscriber. Maybe pick guests J&J are actually interested in talking to. When Jared doesn’t like someone he can’t hide it. Makes for an uncomfortable listen and I’m here for something fun and easy. You may disagree with them but then move on. Harping on it over and over again is when it comes off a little insecure IMO.

I thought Andy imports and sells essential oils … no big secret … or he used to. I remember thinking it was weird that Nick Viall tried to go into the same space for a little bit. Maybe Andy no longer has that business? Seems like the two of them have gone all in on podcasting as primary source of income. The weirder thing to me is that Andy is so secretive about his age. That answer to that question is locked in a vault.

If you thought this was bad… the Dear Shandy episode they recorded after was way worse. The wheels completely fell off.
I'm so confused…that was a perfectly lovely conversation. What the hell happened between recording u up and recording Dear Shandy. Was Jared just tired and didn't want to have a similar conversation again so he decided to play devil's advocate and be a contrarian. Or did he not like giving someone else the lead in his space. And decided to piss around the room.
Shandy isn’t fully being themselves in this episode and I don’t blame them, I wouldn’t expect them to be authentic and comfortable with this host
Yikes. Jared finally cracked I see. It was only a matter of time. I feel like in the past either Jordana’s been able to cover up, or he managed to mask his disdain for anyone who he perceives might be more book smart (weird insecurity to have) with humor. Like he didn’t just wake up and turn into this person, this is how he treats ppl- you hear it even when listeners write in, or when he unnecessarily randomly brings up his one sided beef with Nick Viall (who i feel v indifferent about btw).
Such a strange mindset for someone who gives advice as a job. It might be time to reflect dude

I was so disgusted by Jared’s behavior towards Andy and Sharleen that I can’t even listen to u up or jtrain podcast anymore, and I’ve been a listener and subscriber for several years. DO BETTER. You owe them an apology. Unsubscribing and unfollowing.
The more I listen that only does Jarod seem combative, he seems quite depressed. So maybe there was something going on behind the scenes

This was such a hard watch. I got so excited seeing the crossover but man this was disappointing. Jared, I love you, but you made this unbearable to get through.
I love Shandy and I was excited to get to know a new “couple podcast” but honestly this was super hard to watch. This guy Jarred has zero professionalism, or manners for that matter, if he had a little bit of them he would’ve taken the opportunity to make a good episode for the listeners and ultimately maybe win some new listeners with this crossover, but for some reason something trigger his obvious insecurities and made him act poorly where this could’ve been a lovely episode. Plus it was very funny to see how he was disputing Andy’s point about how people now are not as articulated and speak with “ums and likes” and his “rebuttal” was filled with like like like like…dude you are the perfect example of what Andy was pointing out 🤣
I love U Up (and I’m a subscriber), but man, Jared’s insecurities are in full effect on this episode.
Team Jared… never heard of Dear Shandy and I was better for it. The dude is a pretentious jerk. Turned the interview off.
I’ve watched u up a little for LIB recaps and I’m a hardcore shandy, so I’m likely biased in how I’m seeing this, but I don’t appreciate Jared’s interviewing skills and he seemed threatened by Andy. Andy is the full package , so I guess I can get it but this was painful for me.

These guests do not come across as authentic at all… just arrogant and generalizing an entire generation… Jared can sniff out people who are not real. oh and icing on the cake was when asked “what would you change about LiB?” Team Shandy replies “just more seasons”…. And then you find out they haven’t even watched the first LiB season??!!!?!?! That’s just sad.
