To be fair, government run schools were the envy of the world until the the late 90's. When the teachers unions really took them over and females outnumbered males as both teachers and administrators. After that it started down hill. The higher ed fell to the same forces. mostly females who brought their FEELINGS and EMOTIONS into the classrooms and administrations. They no longer were places that taught critical thinking, debate of ideas, improvement of rational thought, they became places of indoctrination, single minded thought centers, and ideological vessels to act like a virus in the body, exploding these ideas into every institution in the country and western world!
