The Fujifilm X-H2S is an incredible camera but I have a personal gripe with it.

I like the X H1 and it produces excellent images. The whole dial for tactile vs button controls is a subjective choice to either take more time or more efficiency. The best Fuji value is the XH1 but the abilities of the XH2 are more advanced and produce exceptional 40mp resolution. Anybody that claims that the button configuration is more cumbersome is a ridiculous position. Tge dials force you to take your hand off the camera, look at the dial and manually reset it. Far slower …it might be fun to turn the dials but it takes too much time and risks the possibility of of missing a shot
Im just confuse whats the usage on iso/ss dial compare to pasm+custom 1/2/3….
So far i’ve used xt5 i dont even use the dial as much, i think i would rather enjoy pasm n custom setting
Can you guys enlighten me, what scenario would the iso/ss dial helps fasten what process?
You buy that camera if you are a videographer plus photographer.

That dial wasn't made for existing Fuji fans. It was made to bring Canon shooters across and it worked.
I hate nothing more, than someone handling a camera with the sensor exposed, even if it's inside my home, I do not ever allow for my sensor to be exposed in any way possible.
Small sensor make great photos
more buttons and dials means more things to break eventually. the custom modes on the one dial once you set them up is literally the easiest thing to switch between shooting modes it voids all the things you day are bad about it. just setup a custom modes for manual and non manual focusing etc
My gosh, the tactile / retro camera design is inefficient compared to the PSAM layout. If you’re about owning a cool and retro looking camera then yes avoid the XH2 and XH2S.
These are not enough valid reasons to reject such a powerhouse.
Custom mode dial is genius once you take the time to dial it all inn. I have been using the X-H2s for a month and it's the best thing that has happened to my workflow. I do a lot of hybrid content so I really appreciate switching modes really fast.
They just need to add internal desqueeze options for anamophic lens, it will appeal to another sector of people alongside lumix
Ease-of-use depends on how you set it up. Aperture control on the lenses… Shutter Speed on the front or rear dial… ISO on the front or rear dial… it doesn’t get any better than that.

I own an xh1 and I’ve stopped using the dials especially for weddings I just use the two dials since I can do it all in one hand
Manual dials is a weird gripe. I would use the custom modes all day for switching video framerates and color profiles
Then buy the one that was designed for your needs! Jesus Christ. I hate this kind of Youtubers that complains on something that was meant to be for something else. Super tired of this rubbish content!
How do you find the 40fps. I do sports photography and my hit rate for focused shots are quite poor.
I still like the still photos out of the X-T4 better. 🤷🏻♂️
I finally decided and just ordered X-H2S, instead of X-T5. I have Canon R5 and with my right hand and my eyes on the viewfinder, I use front, rear and rotating dials to adjust shutter, aperture, and ISO. Switching to X-H2S will be easier with same customized buttons.
Why did they do that??..the xh1 was AWSOME. And the body was the best ….it looks like all they did was let rid of 1 dile and move the top lcd from one side to another😮😮😮
I don’t like the standard Fuji camera, the X-H2 and X-S20 are much nicer
Mechanical switches and dials take up more space than buttons internally, so its necessary to use buttons to make space for more powerful and latest things to fit inside.
