  1. Idiots with microphones killed so many excess people during this pandemic. Bravo for eliminating the people you deemed weak I suppose… How's your iq holding up post-reinfection? Lol every time you catch a cold, do you lose iq? Nope. Y'all will be a protected class soon. Just wait.

  2. To reduce the risk of infection, it is recommended that people at risk of influenza and/or COVID-19 consider taking 10,000 IU/d of vitamin D3 for a few weeks to rapidly raise 25(OH)D concentrations, followed by 5000 IU/d. The goal should be to raise 25(OH)D concentrations above 40–60 ng/mL (100–150 nmol/L).

  3. MS patient here, so I take vitamin D as my doctor highly encourages it (because there is probably a link between MS and vit D deficiency). I live in a cold country so not much sunlight.

I currently have a cold, but nothing major.

  6. Buy vitamins over counter not covered by medical plans was low put on 2000 a day remember babys in 60 given it in drop helps stop rockets I think heard diabetic can be low anything on that

  7. Dr Campbell I absolutely love your videos, they are so interesting, unbiased, easy to follow and understand for the none medically trained people, and are backed by reliable evidence based information. I was taking a 62.5 μg vitamin D3 tablet. I have took this for the last three or so years, and have not been sick hardly any during these three years. During this time I have had covid twice (first in March 2020 and second time July 2022) and on both occasions it was very mild, I had a little bit of a cold last winter which went after two days. After watching some of your other videos/later videos on vitamin D3, I've decided I am going to take two of the vitamin D3 tablets I mentioned at the beginning as the research you mention on those later videos strongly points to having a high dose of vitamin D3 has even greater benefits and also I live in the North of England (Cumbria) close to the Scottish border. Since doing this I am taking vitamin K2 as well so as to direct the calcium absorption into my bones and away from my organs and arteries. Thank you so much for all your videos, they have definitely brought things into perspective with the covid situation, as I struggle to believe MOST of what I see and hear on the TV news (or social media) and in the Newspapers to. Keep up the excellent work.

  8. Thanks for this important information and study analysis of vitamin D. I have a question regarding taking vitamin D supplements.
Question: How can we know if any of the available vitamin D supplements are good quality and worth taking when the vitamin industry isn't closely monitored? Note: I may not have access to all the facts regarding the vitamin industry.
Is there any evidence to show which brands are significantly better for best results?
By the way, we all so much appreciate your dedication to the human health sector!

  9. @2:08 ++; from what I understand, our genetics indicate that the human race has always had a broad range of skin tones. So, perhaps it is not a matter of "evolving" lighter tones as we migrated further north, but that those with darker tones died off more quickly due to their reduced ability to pruduce the vitamin D so necessary to an adequate immune response to respiratory illnesses.

  10. Does D help treating also when the Covid infection has just broken out? What else can I give he,91 with unresolved childhood trauma, Highly sensitive, not used to Antibiotics. Having other disease and sedentary lifestyle, but general good health and good habits apart from that. Although I know a bit, she resists my help because I am too worried and too eager, too caring and get anxious, which increases her resistence. If You said, she'd listen.
    is Cod liver oil good?
    And Garlic?
Probiotics for her intestines, to prevent destruction by the antibiotics?
I should be so very grateful for an answer. Bless you, Dr!

  11. 400 IU seems too low, that's minimum by the gov again, NICE or whoever. Give the ideal blood levels. At that dose it would probably take a year to build up to the ideal blood levels. That's the problem. You can speed it up by taking more. I'd use function doctor's references instead.
