Everyone saying hokd the parents responsible. When my son was younger they messed up some rails around town skateboarding. THEY had to make the repairs, repainted and everything. That's how it should be, parents can't control everything their kids do.Yall know damn well your parents didn't control every move you made as a teen.
Idk if kids parents shluld be charged. My dad used tl tey everything to gwtvme to behave , jail, ootcamp, probation, mental hospitals, normal parenting stuff like spankings and grounding me and takong my stuff away but i didnt care and would burn off and do whatever i wanted until he found me and he would snatch me up and take me back home and stuff and i heard everything he said but i wanted to see everything for myself and fight the system
Thank you for the people commenting exactly what I was thinking. Yes, arrest the teens, but definitely ARREST THE PARENTS! 100% this is the parents fault as much as the teens! Even if their parents have “talked” to the kids prior to this incident, you can tell from the footage that the audacity these teens are exhibiting in a public place that they have never been given any serious consequences for their behavior! A child that has been shown what will happen if they act irresponsible and stupid, 9 times out 10 they will exhibit some kind of restraint or “putting the brakes on” before riding a bicycle/ E bike or scooter into a store, and then one of them riding the mobility cart around the parking lot and into the store! What child/teen thinks this is acceptable behavior after their parents have drilled Into them, since they were toddlers, how to behave out of the house, or even in the house?!? So this is definitely not just on the teens, but on the ones responsible for them until they are adults and responsible for themselves.

Oh, come on! I have legendary stories from my youth that make these look tame. Now I'm not peoud of them, but I realize if I hadnt of made those choices then, get it out of my system by receiving an appropriate consequence for the damage done, I may be behaving poorly still. Had I recieved such trumped up charges I beliece it forbsure have thrown me back so far and held me down in that immaturity that you never could have helped me come to accountable and mature. These charges do not take into account how incapable some childrens minds are at abticipating negative possible conseqyences until I recieve them and when they are extremely harsh it may xause the child to dig in as if to say "You think that was bad, now that you saddled me with this label and record forever, I'll show you!" Because at that point they can't esxape it's consequence lifelong.
Be appropriate and tough but a felony? Rake their parents over the coals financially? No. Instead punishvthem with a year of community service they must show up to at least 3 times a week. They will get tough and smart due to thatvwith no lifelong record or they'll axxept tgeir criminal date. Eitger way they deserve some kind of chance.
Hold the parents responsible for the damages and jail time for negligence. Definitely jail time for the kids, plus probation, mandatory school attendance and curfew

Must be a new thing. I saw two kids ride right into a hotel lobby in Orlando. They were recording it and trying to do tricks and jumps before hotel staff could get them out. Guess they need their bikes seized and auctioned off, and charged.

They were riding motorized bikes without pedals so we who ride e-bikes with pedals shouldn’t be in their category.

Go after these lousy parents. Full on penalties. Charge the parent for the felonies and the parents for it to cost and damages. Then levy fines for everybody that was frightened or scared because of these little brats.
