One question for me: Following your exemple, the H in H2O is not pronounced. But if I use the word hydrogen -> it becomes pronounced? As I am studying Chemics and in my report I would like to say a(N) hydroxycinnamonitrile and I am not sure if I sold put an or a! Maybe you could give me hint? Thank you very much Gill! Greetings from France!
