People like Kumar cannot decide the fate of Tata group. If he is so good he should first help Shapporji Pallongi group to come in green who will benefit the most by publicly listing Tata sons. Tata sons is the greatest business institute of India and its running like this simply because of its existing structure, any change to it and it will become corrupt like the Adanis and Ambanis.
Noel will not accept – as he fears failures. that seat is meant to fail. He will liek to be the king maker and make him the scape goat.
Why do they need a leader… they love their losses… they will self -destroy themselves.

Already team has been formed for search of new leader in place of Mr chandrasekhar, it will take 6-12 months to finalize but my opinion is it must b Parsi & young person so that he can lead Tata sons for next 3-4 decades, Noel Tata has three children & one of them will b selected to whom Noel Tata will coach.

Nobody is invaluable and indispensable. If it were so then that company's doom's day wouldn't be far off. Tata companies were as good and as bad like in pre Chandra's days.
Chandra is an executive. If few companies are not upto the goal set it is normal for stakeholders to raise questions and search for more competent candidate. This is what exactly done by Tata chief Noel. Nothing wrong in that.

Lessons from Chandra's Departure . Future appointments should be Co Terminus with Expiry of the Chairman/ Chairperson , as the case may be . Chandra should have ideally Quit the Day Ratan the Great passed away. That's true Business Ethics. It's impossible to carve out an Empire whosoever Loyal or Disloyal he or she be . All of you can have an opinion when the surname is TATA or you hold one share more than them. You guys are talking about almost two century old conglomerates and history says that such leadership changes every time the next generation TATA took over. Sir Ratan Tata did similar thing when he took over from JRD.
