The B-52 bomber crashed shortly after takeoff at 11:20 a.m. Officials said that the crew was a mix of military personnel, government civilians and government contractors who were taking part in a local test mission related to a radar modernization program. KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade reports.

Praying for the families 😢 but they are bombing innocent people in all around the world maybe in case of this
Pilot error. They just don't want to tell you.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Think about the thousands of families bombed by your dearly departed.
Trump has lost almost 80 military aircraft this year alone.. what a joke
One less US bomber that can be used to attack other countries for no reason
THIS IS A REAL WIDOW… SO SO SAID FOR HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN…
God bless this woman and her baby!
There been an uptick of Airplane crashes, it wouldn't be that hard to sabotage a plane by putting the wrong fuel in it…
This is a fantastic and highly memorable story! In aviation and military circles, this particular legendary anecdote is often attributed to the famous triple-ace and legendary test pilot, General Jimmy Doolittle. Known for his remarkable leadership and deep trust in his ground crews, the General famously encountered a mechanic who had mistakenly put the wrong fuel into his aircraft. After landing safely and discovering the error, the General sought out the mechanic. Instead of destroying the individual's career with a court-martial, he offered a quiet, powerful reprimand: he acknowledged that he could have the person court-martialed but noted that he was sure the man had learned his lesson and would be much more careful in the future. Giving someone a second chance instead of ruining them over an honest mistake is a classic example of transformational leadership. It builds intense loyalty, gratitude, and a deeply motivated ground crew who will take extraordinary care going forward. 👍 Let the Holy Spirit heal their families, and comfort thier families thru their great loss … 🙏 ✝ 💜
I know a man who was killed in the crash. I knew him for 15 years. I was speechless when I heard the news
RIP
His kids will grow up honoring his legacy and keeping his memory alive.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why is the news saying it’s a b-52 bomber and showing and showing a c137? Prayers for the families.
This hit me hard. Not only was my father a B-52 pilot, I was the wife of a military pilot.
The worst thing for a wife to see was when that car with your husband’s commander, as well as the priest, pulled into your driveway. I saw it as a child, and as an adult wife. Thankfully we had an incredible support system among us, and other wives quickly surrounded you with love and helped you in your grief and recovery.
*of course, now that so many women are in the military, that applies to male spouses as well.
Such a Tragedy. My Condolences and Prayers to All their families, friends and colleagues. 🙏🏼 🕊🌅
This is tragic and as far as I can see, it’s receiving minimal coverage. Families, I am so sorry for your terrible loss. 🙏
Oh, Man… That's so terrible. Brave men, all.
Something seriously going on, it's impossible so many helicopter plane accidents, something that we will know in 20 years or so, unless a whistle blower comes forward
Our prayers to our servicemen water lives for the safety of our country our prayers for heroes who gave their lives to keep us safe. Let them all rest in peace with our prayers our brothers.

People that were training to kill other people while flying a plane designed to kill other people creating new advanced ways to kill other people dying…the irony. It's messed up but it's not like these guys were feeding starving kids or curing cancer with their lives….
AS a Widow of 10 years….my heart is with you…. Praying…..
