  1. Lots of info on sunshine and infection reduction etc. anecdotally, I started going out shirtless and in shorts in the fall/winter when the sun came out for 8-10 min each side (front and back) and stopped getting the cold or flu. That plus a plant based diet, being up to date on my vaccines and exercise. I used to catch something 5 to 6 times every winter. It’s been a nice break.

Dr Roger seheult speaks on this (with peer reviewed articles), and it seems from my personal experience to match.

Which leads me to wonder, is the vitamin D correlated with a lot of other things with the sunlight, and it just results in better health outcomes. Or is it the vitamin d itself.

  2. I'm obese ATM and I take 1000ui every few days, vitamin d stores in your body for months.. i dont beleive bs, I especially don't believe RDI/RDA diabolical bs, the RDA could easily be RMA.. (recommended monthly allowance) the future will prove me right because it's just logical sense. They say only 3 percent of Americans hit there RDI's, yet look at humanity pushing boundaries, nutrition science is astonishingly wetarded, only have to do a blood test to see how BS rdi's are, I took this stuff really serious at a point in my life and developed serious depression and anxiety over it, criminal.. if I ran things alot of people in the field of nutrition would be in jail rn, including dr greger, careful guys, they will destroy your life with anxiety, even tho we evolved starving and now eat whenever we want, don't let science ruin your youth like I did, shoutout to dr mcdougal, he wouldn't have been jailed under my rule, legend

  3. The sickness management industry, also known as the healthcare system, tries very hard to convince us that the sun is so dangerous that we should only go out at night and if we ever are unfortunate enough to have no other choice but to go out during daylight hours, we should cover our bodies in a soup of chemicals to make sure that absolutely no sunlight reaches beyond the very top dead layer of our skin. And that it's okay because we can replace all of the benefits of sunlight with a monthly subscription to a supplement company.

I'm not convinced and I don't think the evidence supports it. I have not seen any good evidence that taking a vitamin D supplement and avoiding the sun reduces mortality. There is some compelling evidence that people who get more sun live longer and have fewer diseases. And I don't think it can just be put down to the idea that those who get more sun do more exercise. It's a factor, but there's more to it than that, I think.
