Please start a campaign in your community to help create greater awareness of toxins in our food. Present research re: microplastics (New England Journal of Medicine and other journals). Offer information on glyphosate–it has been linked to endocrine disruption since the early 2000s. Develop strategies to change people's behavior in what they buy and what we eat–our dollars can talk! Grow some of your own vegetables to help protect yourselves. Our government protection agencies have been lacking in real meaningful oversight for decades. I studied health science and food chemistry as an undergrad and learned of the revolving door between big business and our federal agencies way back in the 80s and it has gotten worse. I've read a significant number of research studies regarding our chemical laden food system, starting with books like Silent Spring and Eating May Be Hazardous To Your Health (written by science researchers who have worked for our government). Yes, our FDA, EPA and CDC have been tremendously influenced and corrupted for many decades and we've pay for it with our poor health outcomes, including death and skyrocketing healthcare costs. Our bodies have become toxic waste dumps for big business profits. Unfortunately, these powerful businesses are not been charged with cleaning up the toxic they've put in our bodies–we have! I have started a campaign in my area. Join the fight. We The People need to lead and take charge–hopefully our government will follow.

Remember when Fox News freaked out when experts said eating less meat could help slow climate change? Now look at 'em all clamoring to support this move. Who wants to tell them libs suggested this a while ago too? The problem is who gets to define "ultra-processed?" An environmental lawyer, or maybe actual dieticians that advise him?
