  1. 1:36:10 & 138:50 – Peter Lorre has his coat over his head when they guy pushes him backward down the stairs, then another stair scene where he ends up being thrown down on the floor and a log. The man knew how to take a fall, as many early actors did their own stunts (like Buster Keaton). Lang was always ahead of his time, but warning parents and children of predators back then was amazing. "All of you!", the last line, must have done some good. TY for the original version in HD! Lotta fakes out there, like the cheap American Version Retro Central posts while using the original title and Peter Lorre's name.

  2. Fascinatinating- such a seemingly pure look at pre-Hitler Germany. Settings, costume and acting feel very real, an up close look into the living past of people interacting, not just newsreels.
