Cedar Point season passes for 2027 recently went on sale, and it likely won’t surprise you to learn that, much like literally everything in our lives right now, the cost has risen notably.
When they announced the pricing changes, they brought in affable NFL tight end (and Cleveland Heights native) Travis Kelce as a Cedar Point brand ambassador to try and soften the blow, because it’s hard to be mad at Travis Kelce, even when he’s promoting significant price hikes.
The new 2027 Gold Pass cost will now cost $115, up from $99, when 2026 passes first went on sale last summer. That’s a 16% increase on the Gold Pass, which includes unlimited visits to Cedar Point, Cedar Point Shores, and six other parks in the Midwest region.

The death knell of Cedar Point, a once great park, was heralded by the Six Flags takeover. Corporation ownership brings chaos, confusion and corruption to every area it touches.
I've been to more than 40 amusement parks and to Disney World over 200 times. On many of these occasions I've walked on rides in every park with no lines at all. I can tell you this is great, but it's also boring. You can hit every ride and some twice in half a day tops. This works for a shorter visit but if you plan on spending the day there and into the night up till closing, you kind of have a better time if there's some lines. I dont like two and three hour waits, but a 40 minute wait is in some ways nice. I get to know others and have had many great conversations with some really neat folks.
I feel this is where fast lane should be priced it will be good for people in the general line as well as those in the fast lane as less people will be in it. It should help eat at their debt also even with less people buying it.

They're compensating for the fact that most people won't be able to afford to even go to Cedar Point from this point on.
These prices aren’t correct . I paid 140 for renewing gold passes this year for my 3 cousins I got me and my girlfriends last year for 99$ for all park pass then waited for them and paid 140 each 150 if it wasn’t a renewal

Went to CP for my birthday last month and it was my first time with a fast pass. Best visit to the park I've ever had, worth every penny. I can't go anymore without it.

the Gold Pass is still $99 for renewal. as for the the Prestige Pass, sure it was $199 LAST YEAR but in previous years it was $325 so let's not forget that. Also Prestige is now including all season fountain drink plan so you get a little more value for your money. as for Fast Lane and the meal plans going up, Six Flags is losing money hand over fist. what did you expect?

I've been paying for full season fast Lane legitimately. From Cedar Point I didn't take the hillbilly shortcut, I've been purchasing it from Cedar Point for the last 6 years now, and when I first started purchasing it, it was 850, it's been a $1000 a season for a couple years, and now finally, finally, we're going to make it out of reach for most people, so you can actually get what you pay for. That the reason I quit going to cedar point anymore, why spend your money on a place that was built for families and fun only to be told your a second class citizen by not a place that doesn’t treat you with the dignity all who come to experience and enjoy one of the greatest places in ohio.
