The window sticker on this F-150 Lobo stops at 5.0 liter V8. The 700 horsepower is a separate line item and it lives in Ford’s parts catalogue at $10,250.
Fifty state legal, calibrated by Ford, warranted for three years and 36,000 miles. A Raptor R makes 720 and starts around $113,000.
Fifteen minutes around the block will never find any of this. Here is what a week found.

The 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo is a package on the STX SuperCrew, powered by the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 and the 10-speed automatic, lowered 2 inches at the rear on unique 22-inch gloss-black wheels with a 3.73 electronic locking axle. As configured, this tester runs $64,125 including destination. The Ford Performance 5.0L Supercharger Kit, part number M-6066-F150SCA, is $10,250 at the parts counter and uses the Gen 6 3.0-liter Whipple with an inverted twin-screw rotor pack and a dual-pass intercooler. It is rated at 700 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 590 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm, CARB certified 50-state street legal, premium fuel only at 91 octane minimum, and carries a 3-year, 36,000-mile Ford Performance warranty from the vehicle’s in-service date when installed by a Ford dealer or an ASE certified technician. The turnkey Ford Custom Garage FP700S package is roughly $26,895 and adds a lowering kit, wheels, sport exhaust and aero. Cross-shopped here against the Ford F-150 Raptor R with its 720-horsepower 5.2-liter Predator V8, the Ram 1500 RHO and its 540-horsepower Hurricane inline-six, and against Roush, Shelby and Hennessey supercharged F-150 builds. This review covers supercharged throttle response versus turbo lag, transmission behaviour under 590 lb-ft, traction in 2-wheel drive on 275/50R22 all-seasons, ride quality on the 2-inch drop, the manual seat and flip-key austerity of the STX interior, and owner findings on the electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case, the running board bracket conflict with the Lobo ground effects, and step-in height after the drop.

A Lobo with the supercharger bolted on lands around $74,375 before install labor. A Raptor R is 720 and starts near $113,000. If that $75,000 was coming out of your pocket, which one leaves the lot?

2026 f150 lobo owner here, i've had mine for about 4 months (3k miles nearly on the dot) the truck is incredible for what you get. sure rivals may give you more tech to use in it, but this truck gives you more truck for the money. manual ac complaints are dumb, i just pick mine and occasionally tune the fan speed. that's that. one note to mention if you plan on future reviews, the stx does not come with ford navigation. so if you want a map, you have to use carplay. i plan to get the supercharger upgrade soon but i suggest as a mechanic, to break in your engine to 500 miles at LEAST!!, the first 500 miles dictate the next 99,500 miles. as someone who came from a genesis and wanted to go american, i couldn't be more happy with my truck. if you have any questions for me about my truck, I will be happy to answer them! great video brian!
Grainger Ford Iowa….64K all day
This is what the lightning should have been instead of some electric embarrassment.
I love that Ford did this but I also can’t imagine spending $75k for a vehicle without leather (even a leather wrapped wheel) or some of the other common creature comforts that are missing.
Who's crazy enough to buy a truck these days? If you keep buying they will keep charging nuts prices
The engine on the raptor r it’s actually upgraded with stronger internals and it’s 5.2. It also has more: for the air and the oil.
It’s not just a tuned 5.0.
I'm very happy this exists even though I'd never buy one new.
"Makes the Raptor R look expensive" is dumb, it is expensive.
700 hp crank
498-500 to the wheels stage 1 with warranty
Old school street truck that needs a 6 inch drop! Unbelievable to see a polyurethane steering wheel for a $50k plus truck.
Lund 91 octane tuned Whipple 4" pulley 2022 F150 RCSB 4×4 5.0 4.10 gears Ford 22×9.5 +44 295/5022 33.6" H rated Michelin defender tires . 17@18 average mileage 7.85 1/8mile . 12mpg pulling my car trailer 60-63 mph with 2014 GT500.
Ford gave drivers who crave more power exactly what they wanted, but in the process they trimmed off $38,000 worth of bells and whistles. Overall, I think it's a very decent compromise. An F-150 Platinum can be purchased for roughly the same price, and comes with almost every available option. I would suggest that potential buyers spend a bit of seat time in both vehicles, and decide for themselves what they're willing to give up in creature comforts and tech in order to get the power and performance that this truck delivers.
I did this with a 4wd STX Black Edition Extended cab special order before LOBO. Did a even more power Gen 6 stage 2 and added Bilsteins, Ford Performance lowering at 1.5" F/2.5" R, slotted disc brakes, Borla exhaust, flow-forged rims/tires, rear anti sway to control it better, added heated seats, remote start, digital keyless unlock. and a Tremor leather steering wheel. I do wish I had 4A as a drive option. The LOBO front is nice but I have a FP lower spoiler too, so it's bit sporty yet stealthy.. Dragy timer says 11.4/121MPH is Corvette/BMW M Car fast. Truck and parts and labor came to maybe $71,000.
Don’t forget the labor the dealers charge to install. 20 hours at $200 an hour here in Texas. I know because just had it done
I have my '22 F150 base XLT setup similar to Lobo but no SC. I do use the truck as a truck, but I see 99% pavement and its my only vehicle. So FP performance lowering the rear 2.5" with FP uprated front springs, rear sway bar and toyo proxes. Also raptor steering wheel with paddle shift. Issue is that, the seats do not only height adjust, but no support spirited driving in the twisties. As for power, I am actually plenty happy with the coyote as is. Just a resonator back axle dump and intake snorkel removal tickles my ears.
Anyways, good review, but I was really hoping for a more thorough review on the handling especially, compared to the maverick Lobo.
Magnificent, instant classic in that blue. I get one with base engine. Put leather seats and replace plastic steering wheel with a leather version from XLT and it is all I need.
