James Webb Found Something Strange on K2-18 b



James Webb Space Telescope detected methane and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of K2-18 b — and possibly something even more intriguing: dimethyl sulfide, a molecule associated with marine life on Earth.
But the signal is weak, and scientists haven’t confirmed it. So did James Webb find a clue to alien life, or something we don’t understand yet?
