Круть конечно но наш мне нравится гораздо больше. Белый лебедь. Ту-22М3 — советский и российский дальний сверхзвуковой ракетоносец-бомбардировщик с изменяемой стреловидностью крыла. Его максимальная скорость достигает 2000 км/ч, практический потолок — 13 300 метров, нормальная боевая нагрузка — 12 000 кг (максимальная — до 24 000 кг), а дальность полета — до 7000 км. Экипаж самолета состоит из 4 человек.
I imagine the downsides of variable swept wings are maintenence costs, maintenence down time, and maintenence complexity. The more parts move, the more likely they'll fail.
Still cool, but I know the F-14 commonly had issues with its wings.
I like better the Tupolev 160, better design bigger and much faster than the B-1 this fight Russia wins 😊

My favorite aircraft not just in performance because is kind of the best of both worlds between a fighter and a bomber but the design for me it’s out of this world. Kudos to Rockwell International now Boeing for a magnificent peace of art.
