After listening to Billy Idol's version from 2001 I just notice what a bad singer the Simple Mind singer is… huh… never noticed that in the 80s/90s… no power in the voice… Although Billy Idol sang it in a very pop style way which is pretty soft for Billy Idol, Billy's voice is so much better.
