A new pilot will create micro-jobs and apprenticeship pathways, to help rough sleepers be work-ready and have stable housing. It is among 17 ground-up projects being backed under a S$450,000 fund, as Singapore looks to deepen the role of community groups in tackling rough sleeping. More than 80 partners will be involved in this. Chloe Teo tells us more.

"Where are the beggars in Singapore? Show me." – LKY, 2007.
Fast forward just 19 years, and LKY's spirit and dedicated policy stance (through the means of the HDB) to ensure no Singaporean would ever have to sleep on the streets has been undone before we've even reached 2 decades.
This government would rather allow cost and competition pressures to force people onto the streets, than to do the right thing. Vested interests? Too much political push back from people who bought in at speculator's prices? Need to keep already-rich people happy with rising real estate prices while poor people are sleeping on cardboard in exchange? Need to maintain an abundance of money laundering vehicles??
And you turn to the people to "help" the economic conditions you created? What are we doing here?
This government does not have the iron in them to do the right thing. LKY actually made use of his long terms to set out visionary policies and follow through with them. What is Singapore's vision in 2026? Become a billionaire's playground where our lives are amusement for them? Why do you need a long political term if you're doing nothing with it?
Singapore is losing its way and fast
More and more sleep roadside. Call rough sleeper. Homeless people
450K project ? 😂 can do what
Some of the staff working at the government anti-scam center are the scammers themselves, but nobody knows about it.
The government make singaporeans work and work every day, but still on low pay, in this way singaporeans have no time or energy to think about other things, or do other things.
The government always said new citizens are very important to Singapore, and so keep on taking in more and more new citizens, that's why true Singaporeans birth rate are always low.
The government own self said racial in harmony, different religions in harmony and different nation people from all over the world all live in harmony in Singapore, this is no meaning at all.
"Stand firm against nativism"?
Only in leadership completely disconnected from its people—and entrenched in the belief that its power is permanent—would sacrifice the future of native citizens for globalist agendas and short-term economic gains. When a ruling party protects only itself and views the local population as disposable, it destroys any reason for the people to support it. True Singaporeans, whose families bled in WWII and built this land from nothing, owe no loyalty to a regime that abandons them.
The presence of rough sleeping in Singapore is stark, contrasting sharply with the high compensation of its national leaders.
If the PAP cannot provide protection and decent Quality of Life to Singaporeans, then Question is, Why should I give them my support? I might as well support alternative Talents as a barter to improve Singapore and benefit all Singaporeans and as minimum, to regain some respect and dignity as a Man for their Family in securing back Good Paying Jobs in our "OWN" land.
