A surprise engine graced the rear of a very long double-stack intermodal container train emerging out of the fog at Carkeek Park, and Burr Stewart caught it on camera! This action took place on Friday, 14 August 2026 around 8am in Seattle, WA, USA.

That's definitely an S. Q trains are primarily domestic 53' containers occasionally with some port stacks mixed in. The regularly scheduled Qs are the Q-SSECHC departing SSE around 5 or 6pm, and sometimes a Q-CHCSSE coming over Stevens later in the day although that one is really random.
Definitely a great catch for up there.
