We tested the Zeekr 7GT in snow. Zeekr’s 7GT (also sold as the 007 GT) is the electric wagon Australia is getting in late 2026, estimated from about $55,000 and well under $100K.
The 7GT keeps nearly all of the Zeekr 7X’s virtues and is better to drive. Long Range RWD we drove is 310kW and 440Nm with a 95kWh battery and 655km WLTP. Performance AWD stacks a front motor for 475kW and 710Nm. 800-volt charging, 10 to 80 percent in 13 minutes on the 71kWh car or 16 minutes on the 95kWh. Boot is 456 litres. Not a 7X clone with a longer roof.
Is it a Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo for half the money? That’s the fight. Ride is clunky on steel springs, the brake pedal is touchy, and Aussie cars miss China’s 900-volt update. Still the rare EV wagon that actually wants a corner.

As someone who has purchases Audi's over the past 15 years, I'm switching to the Zeekr 7GT AWD.
The AWD model shown in the video is the 900V (facelift) architecture with Lidar and R-line sport seats. The one that's going to be sold in Austrialia, would be the old version 800V architercture (no lidar), at least according to the video. I would guess the same as the EU model we have over here. Lots of confusion here.
The moose test is particularly interesting, as most brand-new SUVs utterly fail it.
FYI, in the EU, window buttons work as expected. back=down etc.
Reviewer is more cocky than the engineer who developed it! Go figure
Shut up and take my money
Can change AC settings from the steering wheel.
Window switches are correct,
Charging speeds in Australia will be mediocre as there are almost no 800V DC superchargers. The Xpeng G6 is 800V and a slow charger. Please don't make review slop.
Did I hear correctly that the rear wheel drive had air suspension and adaptive dampers??
Two bits of knowledge:
Ac temp and fan can be adjusted from steering wheel menu
All the Zeekr can get fake engine sounds through the menu. You can have various options in sounds.
Would have appreciated range numbers for the AWD though.
If the Chinese allocate some of their station wagons to Aus, they'll sell like hot cakes.
I've held off for that reason.
When using aircon controls try voice commands
Probably is a “nice” car. But after all it’s just another EV brick.😒🦘🇦🇺
If you play video games, the window controls make sense.
Really enjoyed watching this engaging carsales review testing the new Zeekr 7GT electric wagon on the track, snow, and moose test. One small thing though, the in-car audio had some slight wind interference and varying volume levels between the driver's voice and track ambiance, so using a wireless lavalier mic with a windscreen would make the dialogue sound much cleaner and more balanced.

Been waiting for the embargo to lift.
I'm curious – did you (or the instructors) actually string multiple fast laps together without the thermal protection systems kicking in?
That chicchat speaker is very useful. When encountering muppets on the road, if they make it super loud
Did anyone saw zeeker on fire while charging in china. Was in tiktok N insta reels. Anyone, anyone. 😂😂
Pretty sure the rear wheel drive you're testing doesn't have air suspension. Would be great if these test were accurate
I know what’s going soft 2.3 tons 😂😂😂
