  1. If you create a dual use technology it is your responsibility to shoulder full cost to enable all safety measures. Android didn't have to do that.
The fact that there are two main OS in the globe should've been less costly to implement this life saving feature

  2. The other day someone borrowed my car where I had hidden an air tag. They got a notification that they were being followed by an unknown airtag. Got me thinking what if someone steals a car and the thief is notified and they get rid of the airtag.

Such a difficult business these companies have to go through.

  3. No!
    I hold a different view.
I don't want a thief being notified that the bag s/he snatched contains an airtag which I could use to track whereabouts.

Now, I have no motivation to get an airtag unless this concern has a persuasive remedy.

  4. Defeats the purpose of an AirTag. Only in USA could they sell someone a way to protect their stuff that alerts criminal to get rid of the tag that is tracking them. 🤦🏻🤦🏻

  5. These guys should be doing more collabs but we know why they don’t, they’d rather want you locked in their walled gardens (ecosystem), until some legislation or lawsuit forces them to. Humanity is its own problem and greed (love of money) is at the core.

  6. What if someone stole your car you have an aritag in iy and it notfies the thiefs phone and boom they find ur tag and now u cant find ur whip this is stupid
