The only reason he got tine was because he was a felon in posession of a firearm. If he wasnt a felon that wouldve easily been a self defense case especially with footage of a guy running towards him like he was brandishing a gun
maybe the mom should wake up and realize her son was a drug dealer with a gun. maybe dad shouldnt run up on people like he's holding a weapon.
Automatic 😂😂😂. Are cops really that stipid
Hi, First 48 family. James Stover served seven years of his 20 year sentence and was released on probation in 2019. That is not justice.
Queens, NY touching base
Always the same perps!!
Your son was a drug dealer with a gun! He wasn’t innocent! And he shouldn’t have got shot either but oh well that’s what it entails being a drug dealer
Guilty! For standing your ground. D.A And investigator just want a CONVICTION.. if handling a weapon, and someone running up on you. To HARM. Anybody would have pull trigger. STOP PLAYING
Ofc the prosecution takes the easy route and lies to the family and could careless, only about their conviction rate… 20yrs out in probably 13-15.. yeah good job.. 5 for the other guy and his testimony didn't even matter..SMH, long as they keep their rates up
What a crappy prosecutor just trying to take the easy way out and take two deals
Greetings first 48 family from one of the Sea Islands of South Carolina . Happy to know there is a community of viewers. I love the first 48 because it teaches us so much about humanity. It teaches us to be so grateful for every minute of every day. To see people’s lives cut down in an instant is traumatic and horrific. My condolences to the families affected in all of these episodes. Thank you to the officers / detectives for the important work they do to hold people accountable for their actions. Remember to give thanks every day for life .
He stupid af for talking and he ain’t even the one shooting
🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😤😤😤🤦🤦🤦
New York.
Beverly, MA checking in. May all victims in the episode rest in peace. 🪦
I wonder where they are now
why are the mega pixels on that camera so large, whats the point of even having a camera with footage so blurry like that, the people even walk like nintendo characters
lmfao
19:02 gunshot residue on his hands??? That doesn't stand in court
12 minutes in, and I'm thinking, "why didn't you test his hands for gun residue?!?!?!?" Especially before leaving that establishment?
Well, what about checking their hands for gun residue?
13/60
yo
How was his self-defense if he was shot in the back?
Htown are…Harris County, Tx
Wow, senseless killings so sad.
Lots of prayers of love for family and friends behind both and for the first one is beautiful little daughter.❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
The 6’4 dude deserved the hot shells he caught.. idk why dude plead out to those 10 years but then again the u.s government doesn’t play fair especially if you are not financially able to manage all the legal fees
32:23 that aint lil kenny thats cross-eyed kenny
@25:23mins Man…prosecutor should do what is best for the case, instead of being controlled by the mother. Anyway, your son is involved in selling of drugs, it is a high risk business transaction. what do you expect? so typical of Americans, blaming others but yourself. Drugs and guns, what a good combo
Whole lotta mudsharkin going on.
Joliet illinois
As we wstch this episode the shooter has been out of prison for several years.
