It is time for the ultimate budget audio battle: Europe vs. China! 🔊 In this quick sound comparison test, we are putting two classic budget bookshelf speakers head-to-head to see which era and manufacturing origin sounds better.

On the right, we have the mid-90s European-made AIWA SX-Z1300 (Made in Spain), which we recently rescued from a scrap yard. On the left is a newer, post-2000s JVC SP-MXKA3 bookshelf speaker (Made in China). Both of these compact speakers feature a 6-ohm impedance and deliver approximately 40 Watts of music power.

Using an instant A/B audio switch, we will test their sound signatures side-by-side. Does the older 90s European Aiwa still hold its ground, or does the newer Chinese JVC deliver a better punch?
