I love that there is someone else who did exactly the same thing as me at the same time 😅❤ I made a bullet journal for the rest of the year. I had Wonderland222, a wonderful calendar but I also hated all the flipping and the layout wasn't exactly what I needed. I love your bujo layout I got so much inspiration from this ❤
I really don’t like the weekly planner I currently have, so I got a new academic planner from sterling Ink to see what space I will use and what I will not use.

I've put movable tabs on pages when flipping was necessary (Franklin Covey) because even the day on 2 pages tucked behind the month was a lot without it. I have thought about taking time to learn to print layouts for tn booklets, but right now, printing 3-4mm grids and drawing my layouts is so much easier and way less flipping. My worst habit is having 2 small planners, so I reference the month in one or pull up google calendar because flipping is time-consuming when in a hurry to get things moving along.
My first thought immediately, that I couldn't get out of my head the whole video, is that closure flap was constantly in the way. Does that bother you – or how do you combat that when you are working in the planner?
Aura Estelle A5 Daily Magnet has the month and days grouped together. At the start of every week there is a weekly overview. This is the best for me and why I got it for 2027. I realized that I never use my monthly calendar even after I set them up, but I couldn’t figure out why until I realize I was annoyed with flipping back-and-forth as well.

What planner did you choose for 2027?
It’s amazing how exhausting this can become….I really think a bullet journal would suit me in some ways and then in other ways I just need preprinted layouts I can jump into.
I finished my Nisha Fernando Journey A5 early, only because I started ignoring the dates on the dailies and finished the book by beginning of July with all my writing….
Currently in a Hobonichi’s Avec for the rest of the year but I don’t prefer separated sections. I really like everything nested by quarter or at least by month.
2027 I’ll be in my A5 Rosey Life Planner “Daily Flow” in Stone w/gold edges. I’ve been buying her planners since end of 2023 and really like them.
Same with Papertess Designs, she’s launching something new this October….revamping her entire line so I’m looking forward to that.
These 3 NF, RLP & PTD I’ve never had any issues with paper, quality or binding riping….sadly I have had all the those issues with Sterling Ink….who I also have bought 3 years in a row and am always disappointed.
Anyways I really like your Looking Ahead and think that’s a perfect spread to put into my 2027 planner.

I feel like you might like the Sterling Ink Complete Planner since that will solve the flipping back/forth problem. I think Aura Estelle Magnet planner and the Creffective Daily Notebook are also set up in a similar manner.

Girl! Same. It’s the flippy flippy thing. I bought the aura estelle 2027 horizontal weekly. It has the weekly boxes and a small notes column on one page then the next seven days as dailies behind. I don’t have enough going on that i really need a bullet journal, but flipping between a calendar and daily journaling was making me crazy. I’ve set up a notebook with the same layout for the rest of the year.
