Miss Love Tantei (Miss Love Detective) is the sixth single by the Hello! Project duo, W. The single was released on September 7, 2005, and the single V was released on September 14, 2005. “Miss Love Tantei” is W’s last single, as their followup single, Dou ni mo Tomaranai, would be canceled after Kago Ai’s 2006 hiatus and subsequent release. It is also their lowest selling single.
“Miss Love Tantei” appears on the Hello! Project compilation album Petit Best 6. Fans speculate that it was planned to be part of W’s unreleased third album.
The introduction of this song samples the t.A.T.u. song “Not Gonna Get Us”.

I've had this song stuck in my head for like a decade and couldn't figure out what it was till now
how is this their lowest selling single!? it's great, i listened to it all the time during my last year of high school and made up a choreo for it in my mind
Mi canción favorita de ellas ❤ nunca me aprendí la coreo xD pero siempre la intentaba seguir
Tsuji really improved as a singer
I remember when this first came out there was only a "half" video version available, so we didn't get to hear the full song for quite a while. (Might not have actually been long, might have just felt that way). The t.A.T.u. sample is fun. I wouldn't say the song was very strong, but it was nice and poppy. (All of this is fine for me). The whole Aibon "scandal" though, completely destroyed everything for W. The girls look so much more mature in this song compared to most of their stuff. Also ギャル style? OK by me. 🙂
