  2. There are many incorrectly pronounced words. It still does not mean it is correct but ignorant and lazy. Do not pronounce it like January but like its special way with an extra 'R' in February or Fe-Bru-ary, not Feb-u-ary or Feb-u-wary. B & R need to be pronounced together to stop the tongue twisting effect of your mouth.

  3. There's no such thing as American English. It's just English but you are getting it wrong. That's okay though because I live in the UK and we all get it wrong as well 😂

  4. I didn't know that the first r of "February" is dropped.

    But in case of "surprise", I only drop the first r when I speak fast. I do not drop it when I speak very slowly.

    In the Dutch language we know the word "surprise", too, but when I speak fast, I drop the first r as well: [syˈpriːzə].
