by far, this would be my fav drama this year. Rarely do i like villain but in this case, i do. I love Xintang. She's a young woman who dares to defy families and societal norms and question them. Her confrontation with her father in ep 8 is extremely satisfying to me. Very. I am satisfied that she can voice her thoughts bravely. I'm not saying her extramarital affair with Shaoze is right though. But her strength and courage is satisfying. And just opposite her is Lanxiang @ Jilian. What a tragedy that befell her but still managed to maintain her courage, dignity. Both came from noble families but the experiences and tragedies they went thru shaped them as they are. It's a reality. Loveeee these two characters. Sometimes rules, be it family or society are suffocating.
