Doesn't the tall, dark and incredibly handsome (and cute) burlier guy appear in multiple productions of this very same (or similar storyline)? I remember in at least one other production with him he was much more deadpan and threatening and didn't get vulnerable until much later in the episode.

Its get annoying after a while , that one character always speaks and behaves like Star Trek's Spock , or Commander Data . This is an excellent portrayal of how to behave like a well adjusted young adult. College is a cathartic experience. High school is different because you grow up and go to school with people that are basically your neighbors. College is a total mixup where you can practice on being yourself. This is beautifully written and beautifully portrayed, and it is the viewers wish that it would last forever.
