American professional eater Randy Santel versus H’s Diner’s undefeated “House Reckoning” Burger Challenge which had remained unbeaten for over 15 years after more than 1,000 valiant attempts at H’s Diner in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England of the United Kingdom!! After attempting three food challenges in Quebec, Canada, @KatinaEatsKilos and I flew to London, UK so that we could each film a few British eating challenge videos around Southern England, prior to starting a bus tour with my family around England and Scotland. I got to try eight different huge and delicious man vs food challenges and for challenge #2, we stayed in Eastbourne, East Sussex so that I could go back to H’s American-themed diner again and this time attempt their undefeated “House Reckoning” Bacon Cheeseburger Challenge!! The big burger challenge has been available since around when H’s Diner first opened in 2011. Over 1,000 people have tried to finish everything within the short 30-minute time limit during the past 15 years, and nobody had been successful. There is a 400 gram (0.88 lbs) sourdough bun that is purchased from a local bakery, and the burger features a 40 oz English beef hamburger patty topped with nine slices of two different cheeses, six rashers of American streaky bacon, 10 fried onion rings, and eight fried hash browns. The giant cheeseburger has some healthy vegetables (salad) on the bottom and is surrounded by two portions of chips. Everything must be finished within just 30 minutes to win the £55 (~$73 USD) burger meal free plus the first spot on H’s empty “House Reckoning” Wall of Fame!! The green chimichurri sauce and large strawberry milkshake enjoyed during this video were both just optional and not required to be finished as part of the challenge.
