Its actually 627 hp we put the car in dyno
Really good review. Just experienced FSD and it’s amazing! It convinced me to sell my MB AMG GLC for one next year.
Love the myp in the red and silver but I’m not a fan of white interior. Sweet ride nonetheless!
Those bumps you're hearing and saying it could be the suspension isn't the suspension. If you watch carefully you can see that there are drain covers in the road but they're painted in similar color to the road and it's hard to see with the glare.
Nice shirt man
So trippy that it just drives itself, it’s like you have a haunted car.
What’s number of the tint?
I'm still trying to understand the 21 inch wheels on electric cars. Why not settle for something like 18" if it gives 30-50 miles extra?
you kind of sound like Ernie
The only way I will probably buy an EV is #1. If they have more super charging stations, a lot more, even in remote areas. Charging needs to be quick, no more than 5 minutes to full charge, and the range needs to be minimum 400 miles on one charge. I'm sure we'll get this in the near future.
The Tesla Model Y (2026) is positioned in a completely different price range and is many times cheaper than the Lucid Gravity (2026) and Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric (2026). If you're looking for affordability and practicality, Edmunds calls the updated 2026 Model Y one of the best deals on the market, while the Lucid and Porsche are aimed at buyers looking for luxury, status, and extreme performance.
The thud is addressed with a TSB that fixes the issue. SB-26-31-003
Bros manually driving a Tesla 🤣🤣
Quite possibly the ugliest car ever produced.
That suspension thunk or noise you heard @ 20:24 and @ 20:39 is a suspension issue the new Model Y Juniper is plagued with. There’s multiple videos on YouTube and 1000 page forms on Tesla Motor Club forum. So far there is no fix, and many owners suspect this is a chassis issue which is a huge problem.
Soulless box of mediocrity. Good review, though 🙂
"Your Full Self Driving Subscription has expired." – panic ensues
Still not sold.
So I gotta ask…why lower it? If you want it lower buy a model 3
Tesla's will be obsolete sooner rather than later. BYD seems to be better and more affordable.
What swivel mount is that
2:41 it looks more like EV, so worse
Were did you buy the Swevel bracket for the Display. Do you have a link for me. Thanks in Advance.
Did you (or the owner) ever find out what that anomaly under braking was (the suspension thud)? That would really get under my skin if it was mine.
I am confused. Is this "AWD Premium Performance"? This looks too good to be true
Still no heads up display
Finally, a model Y Performance review that actually covers performance.
I like the fit my guy 🔥
Has anyone else with a 2026 Model Y Juniper Performance noticed a ripple/warping effect on the top of the front bumper lip right below the light bar?
I didn’t notice it at first, but once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it. I also noticed the exact same issue on another Quicksilver 2026 Model Y Juniper Performance parked at my work, which makes me think this may not be an isolated issue.
What’s interesting is that when I look at other non-Performance Juniper models, the area appears perfectly smooth with no waviness at all.
I took mine into Tesla, and they replaced the bumper under warranty this past Monday. Unfortunately, the replacement bumper has the exact same ripple/warping effect in the same spot. Tesla acknowledged the issue was still present after replacing the bumper and put it in my notes but would love to get it resolved if possible.
At this point, I’m trying to find other owners experiencing the same issue so Tesla may investigate it further as a possible manufacturing or fitment problem. If you’ve noticed this on yours especially on Quicksilver or other colors please comment or share photos. Thanks
That sound was a water bottle.. in the trunk 😂. I had that
Copy and paste ahh tesla
IS A TESLA IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT IS WHAT ELON WANTS ,
Bro as an M2 owner myself, please stop talking about your M2 as if its some kind of a race car. Sounds so cheesy to me. If i ever talked to my friend about my M2 like you do, they will stop talking to me.
You have no idea about FSD! I have 100% of my 50,000 miles is fully FSD I haven’t driven it in 50,000 miles.
u have 627bhp not 510 in juniper performance, had mine dyno and was putting out 632bhp
Dragtimes raced this Model Y Performance to an Lamborghini Urus SE (789HP) and this Tesla won every single time in the 1/4 mile 🤣🤣
There’s no comparison between FSD and Super Cruise.
"It just wouldn't be a Tesla if something didn't fit perfectly." That’s a classic line, but that chunky misalignment between the rear body panel and the trunk lid is a bit too obvious to laugh off on a $60,000 vehicle.
It’s wild that we’ve reached a point where we just forgive these gaps as a "brand quirk." As the old saying goes, LEGO has tighter manufacturing tolerances than most Teslas, and seeing a gap that large on a "precision" EV is a tough pill to swallow. At this price point, "proper" shouldn't be the ceiling, and it's getting harder to embrace the flaws when other manufacturers are hitting much higher standards for the same money. Tech is great, but basic quality control still matters.
