I still had a little time before heading back to Shenzhen, so I thought I’d visit Wang Po’s famous matchmaking show at Wansui Mountain in Kaifeng, China. 🇨🇳 It wasn’t too far away, and I thought, why not try something new? 😅
It’s a pretty famous live matchmaking show where single people go on stage to find a partner. Apparently, it’s even helped quite a few couples get married!

I think you were very brave to go and try. In a kind of similar way, I did not skydive the 1st time I had the opportunity to try it. I truly was very scared of heights and it conquered me that day. But some years later, the opportunity presented itself again and I was motivated even more to skydive and I did on that 2nd opportunity and the motivation to not let the fear conquer me again won. Perhaps you will feel more motivated too when the opportunity presents itself again.
This seems so stressful, its like an auction. Why cant you meet someone on the street in the market or in a restaurant? I let my husband at work, I was a manager and I hired him and love bloomed from there. 6 years later and we are married. I am 51 and he is 30 and it just works.
