Trust Bank just launched Singapore’s first credit card offering Stockback rewards, and I’m genuinely excited about how this fits into my existing credit card strategy. ☺️

In this video, I break down how the new Trust Freedom Card works, how 3% Stockback is converted into US stocks or ETFs, and how I’m personally using it for both local and overseas spending.

I also share my experience using the card in Bangkok, including the exchange rate I received, and why I think the quarterly Stockback cap can be especially useful for big-ticket purchases like the things I’m buying for my new home.

The idea isn’t to spend more just to earn rewards. It’s about making the most of spending I would have done anyway, while continuing to invest intentionally towards my financial goals.

Note: From 1 January 2027, the Stockback earn rate changes to 2% on local eligible spending and 0.5% on foreign eligible spending.

Any mention of stocks or ETFs are for information purposes only and is not an offer or recommendation.

  1. hmmm my opinion.
i still think that Cashback 15% Cat will be better than Stockback 3% …..
If hit $2000.00 monthly the stockback will at $60.00 whereas if i choose 15% cashback cat will be at $103.00 per month
unless you have a lot big buys spending above $3000.00 monthly. then stockback will be more worthwhile …till 31 dec … Jan 2027 will be reduce to 2% Sad 🙁
