4-H Poultry Pioneers

Alabama 4-H offers poultry programs of all sorts to introduce young people to caring for a backyard flock. But a new program takes that poultry education to another level… with high school students tackling graduate-level research projects. Ranging in grade levels from freshmen to seniors in high school, this pilot group tackled every aspect of graduate-level research… from a literature review and developing a
hypothesis to laboratory tests and presenting their findings to a group of professionals. We hope you enjoy meeting the first flock of Poultry Pioneers.
