  1. Wait, what the actual crap? I just finished the video, and it was absolutely nothing! These are the most basic opinions I’ve ever heard, it sounds like you’re reacting to a trailer instead of the game. Shame on you

  2. I didn't know or forgot that this guy was a ark player before all this story telling video. I think thats why his voice seemed familiar like i have heard that somewhere.

  3. As a doctor, eye photosensitivity is real thing and actually not rhat uncommon. Its more of a synptomatic finding. If the patient says that a normal amount light makes thwir eyes water/makes it hard to see/irritates their eyes
    They're photosensitive.

  4. I wish there was an option to shoot the FEMA agent. Yeah, it'll more than likely trigger a bad ending, but still, it'd be satisfying to put an end to their threats. They're basically nazis that caused all this…Spoilers lol.

  5. ive always loved this game
although i bought this year seeing videos about it always makes me wanna replay it
since then ive gotten three different endings
my next goal which is nearly impossible, is the baby ending

  6. 47:50 Mushroom land is nod to Polish surreal psychological horror series "KrainaGrzybówTV", literally MushroomLandTV on youtube. It mimics 90s children's educational tv programme and the core of the series is "Poradnik Uśmiechu", translated to "The Smile Guide", the instructions that he man hands you in order to reach the Mushroom Land.

  7. Got caught enjoying the audio. Stayed for the presentation. Subbed when told "if youre like me, youre doin chores and listening" (as im cleaning up after breakfast😂)
Great tone and delivery. If i had time and a computer, this is what id aspire to be with my own culture content. Be a good human, treat your companion well, happy to follow!

  8. Theory: Humans get burned by the sun and if the bugs get to them, they turn into visitors, the pale visitor just got infected by the bugs at night turning them into a better "creature" That is why you never see people turned into visitors, they have to be burned by the sun but alive like that firefighter and the bugs have to infect them after which never happens, dead people can't be visitors and visitors would have to be cooled down to a mental and phsyical degree. Kill to mentally cool down and if they take an ice bath or something like that, but they never do so visitors unless persuaded somehow can never be human again. You would also have to take the bugs out the ears but have fun trying that at night.

  9. I don’t know if it was purposeful on the devs part but I always thought the parallels between the environmental effects and disasters created by the sun are obviously reminiscent of the effects of human caused climate change. The “we don’t know why this is happening.” Reminds me of people commenting how hot it gets in the summer now, how often forests are going up in fucking flames, or how increasingly bad tropical storms/hurricanes are getting and our government officials refusing the most accurate scientific explanation behind the higher frequency of these events because it’s not an easy problem that can be solved with bombs and/or weapons. The ice caps melting are is also a very straight forward parallel. What might go over peoples heads is the effects of climate change on the global south, countries I believe are the “Equatorial regions” the game refers to. In real life these countries will be some of the first and hardest hit by climate change mostly caused by actions of other more developed countries. Hell, half of climate change was caused by Europe’s and the Americas Industrial Revolutions that we still feel the effects of centuries later. These developing countries don’t have the infrastructure necessary to protect their own citizens, let alone the global prominence to ensure safe evacuations or refugee statuses in other countries. Yes one of the games themes is primarily loneliness but even if they didn’t mean to, death of the author etc etc, another theme is societal apathy and state apathy. The feeling that a problem is too big for the individual average person to care about. But around the world governments, collections of people that (I argue) are supposed to specialize in the organization and mobilization of their citizens towards specific goals for the good of society and find ways to collaborate with allied nations to coordinate these efforts aren’t doing that function. Because it’s too hard. So they’d rather let their own poorer citizens die because that’s easier, like how FEMA is implied to be simply killing people in order to contain the visitor problem. I think that also encapsulates the hopelessness felt by the individuals in the game and its mood. Anyways, awesome video! I know the vid is more of a lore explaining one than a deep analysis one but my two cents 👀

  10. A neat detail about some of the confirmed humans: they’re always disfigured or disabled in some way. Mostly because the visitors will try to appear human, so any non human looking ones or disabled folks will always be human (burnt man and blind man are perfect examples)

The Cough's dubbing can have a advice from me.

The cough will takes the breath away for a second. Therefore: after the cough one will take a second or two to breath in. (The voice over did not had a pause like that)
