Many Christians talk confidently about how they’re going to heaven, but have you ever stopped to consider how? How are Christians saved? How do we ensure we’re going to heaven when we die? It’s important to know about this subject, because like it or not, we all will die someday and face judgement. It’s important for Christians to have security in our salvation. In this episode we will explore, what saves us, how we are saved, and what our response should be to God’s gift of salvation.

3:40 I want proof for only that option because Jesus said the parable of the seeds and sheep, and the story of the Good Samaritan who was better than the believers who did nothing and the story of the tax collector who was better than the Pharisee.
1. Jesus said to follow his way. Or the story of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.
2. The Pharisee (The Religious Insider): He was a respected, ultra-religious leader. He followed every religious rule perfectly. He looked down on others and bragged to God about how holy he was.
3. The Tax Collector / Publican (The "Sinner"): In those days, tax collectors worked for the enemy (the Roman Empire). Everyone viewed them as traitors, thieves, and "unbelievers" who were far away from God. He didn't even dare to look up to heaven. He just beat his chest and said: "God, have mercy on me, a sinner." He wasn't a follower of Jesus, believing that he is God, or someone that believed him.
The Shocking Conclusion:
Jesus ended the story by saying that the tax collector (the outsider) went home justified before God, while the proud religious leader did not.
4. The contradiction:
John 3:18 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
The Good Samaritan: He does not believe in Jesus. He has the "wrong" religion and doesn't know anything about the Christian truth. Yet Jesus says: He did everything right, go and do exactly like him. (This completely violates John 3:18!).
5. The Tax Collector: He does not believe Jesus is God. He knows nothing about the Trinity. He just says: "God, have mercy on me, a sinner." Jesus says: He went home right with God. (Another direct violation of John 3:18!).
6. The Sheep and the Goats and the seeds: Jesus judges the whole world only by their actions (feeding the hungry, visiting the sick).
7. The good people in the story don't even know who Jesus is! They ask: "Lord, when did we ever see you?" Jesus saves them anyway based purely on their heart.
This also doesn't mean you have to do anything when you can't or don't want, but still have a good heart and life.
8. The problem:
Matthew and Luke (Samariter, Tax Collector, Sheep & Goats): These writers wanted to show that God cares about your heart and your actions. To them, Jesus was a teacher of justice. If you act with love, you are on God's side, no matter what religious label you wear.
9. John (John 3:18: "Whoever does not believe in the Son is damned"): The Gospel of John was written much later. By that time, a strict church group had formed. The author wanted to protect his club and build religious power. So he changed the narrative to: "Only people who join our group and believe in the Son get into heaven."
So faith in Jesus is as simple as believing in Jesus(declaring that you believe that God is a fair judge, but then Jesus died for us so that our sins could be forgiven, and declaring that Jesus is Lord and that he loves me) and then actions coming after that declaration? (like trying to obey Jesus, trying to stop sinning, etc)
I’m 13 and I haven’t been feeling strong in the faith of God and it seems like I’m going to hell , I go to sleep crying because I don’t know if I’m going to wake up on the heaven or hell and it’s just so scary knowing I could go to hell but Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for all of are sins so rejoice in the lord your good
This is apslotly amazing
How do we respond with love
Hey I'm 10 and I'm trying to get closer to God (it's never too early) does anyone have tips anything else for me
Loved this , great video!!!
Brooo I think your wrong we just have to trust Jesus Christ died for our sins and resurrection and we are saved we don’t have to show fruit or work or do good or nice things to get to heaven we are only saved cause of Jesus Christ
Amen
I know I'm going to hell but I don't want to go there I want to give my life to God and I will try right now
thank you lord
I’m not sure I have faith. I want to have faith, but I have doubts about Jesus being God, I want to believe though. I don’t like going to church, but I also have a desire to be closer to God. I’m 13 and I have autism, so I want faith and to be closer to God.
I’m 13 years old, my name is Taevion. I’m constantly worried about going to hell. I feel like my relationship with God is more of in my head than in my heart. It feels like knowledge rather than love. That’s why I’m worried. It might be because I don’t understand well enough. I just want to know him and love him forever.
I am 100% confident I am not going to heaven. When I die my experience will be as described in Ecc9:5&10. Why? Because we are promised (read Revelations) a resurrection that takes place in two stages when Yeshua returns to begin his 1000 year reign. We should all strive to be in the first resurrection as it ensures you have been rewarded with life aeonian. Later, there will be another resurrection of judgement/ condemnation and then it is a little bit hazy as to how things play out for those masses of people who did not "enter through the narrow gate". Be careful who you listen to there are wolves on every street corner. Read your Bible and pray for enlightenment to discover the pathway to the narrow gate. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, AJ
Though Jesus that’s it. Through jesus
Thanks Amen

I would say when you stop caring about “getting to” Heaven. And start knowing Jesus. It took me yearssss. Pride takes a long time to remove from your heart 😢 when you start to genuinely know Him, questions, doubts, arguments against God will start to fade away. Seek the Truth of reality and you’ll find Him. He is beautiful, wise, sorrowful, holy, kind, angry, regal and mysterious. Fall in love with Him! It’ll be the most important choice in your life.
Romans 8:18-28 Ephesians 2:8-9
I really dont get the grenade part
Please pray for me to have genuine faith. I was raised in the church and know all about Christianity but my faith still doesn't produce genuinely-motivated action.
Hallelujah, Amen ! 💞💘💕💖💓❤️❣️😇🙏🙌🕊️☦️✝️♾️🛐
