the 50mm 1.8, and the sigma rf 30mm 1.4 are the first 2 rf lenses i got, the 50 for travel portraits, and 30 for street photography, i like sigmas metallic finish feels so nice on hand
Very dependent to what like you to shoot. What it's yours budget. For me as amateur i love my combo R7+ RFSigma 18-50 F2.8. It's small, lait and have good image quality without breaking the bank. I am not saying the 35mm its bad,but it's not the ideal first lens for everyone.
Definitely agreed. For the price it’s immense bang for the buck. Great low light, plenty of bokeh, semi macro for some fun close ups, lightweight, stabilized. This and the 50mm RF STM are definitely worth the clams. Just have to get used to noisier focus motors

What about for the R7? It is a bit tight to use on an APS-C camera for indoor pics
Can anyone explain how the f stop is 1.8 but some pictures have no blur? I’m new.

While I prefer the 45mm f1.2
It is slightly better for portrait and street IMO.
But yea a bit bigger too.
These YouTubers sure do live in their own little word huh 😂
“Just go buy the 35mm 1.8 lens”
A $500 lens 😂
Is this a prime lens, can it be use to take full body and cover video event.
What is the difference between this lens and my kit lens 18 – 45 mm, f4.5.
Which is better

35mm on crop camera would be effectively 56mm, that would be like a normal lens.
On a full frame would it not be a bit too wide? Would it be better on fullframe or crop?

compra il 50mm e fai un passo indietro
I don't shoot portraits, but rather natural and urban landscapes. Which lens do you recommend?
I always buy a 35 as my first for any system, and avoid 50mm altogether
I use mine all the time!

Fabulous lens for gimbal
I LOVE this lens. It is on my RP 95% of the time.
How many of those pic was 1.8 aperture?
Definitely doesn't work for wildlife 😭
i prefer the 28mm
I agree.
The first you should buy is 24-105 to get all the focal length options and to learn to use all of them. Then you can consider this as your first prime
