I always thought the SO2SE opening on PSP was excellent, but this takes it to the next level.

I love the final part when the girl see the blue and little light and looks with a gaze of admiration and then when she tosses the sword and comes the green and brighter ligh she confirmed he's the one with the sword of light, that really gets me
I feel like this opening itself can be meme, even to AoT levels. XD

This would definitely make me interested in playing the game if I hadn't already played the psp version. But I don't remember the game being this dramatic. It's more fitting for the second half. Really wish there was more build up and interactions to the shift.

After this gem of a remake, the next mainline Star Ocean game should be given the same quality as this, running on the same graphics engine, and everything that's making this remake amazing! Yes, Star Ocean 7 (or a reboot) should be that way.
