Is it reliable for daily driving?
My first car was a honda with a 2cyl 600 cc motor, made a few hp. Well, maybe a couple, tbh. To think this car has more hp than my 300zx twin turbo did is really pretty wild.

I feel like painting over those red exterior accents on the side, back, and tires will reduce that sporty look significantly. That and maybe getting the car in a darker color like grey.
Your criticism is spot on. I'd consider this car but I'd feel and look ridiculous in it. Unfortunately this is the new poster car for spoiled high school and college kids. A plain sleeper version would be much more fun. Maybe make the engine available in the Accord

Do you not get the safety features on the US model? Here in the UK we have auto braking collision detection, lane following, auto full beams, sign reading, etc.
I think you need to get over the looks. The question should be, do you like them. Your girlfriend will still love you, your friends will still invite you to dinner, and as you said, kids will point and go "wow!". Anyone who tries to make you feel less good about yourself because of your choice of car is not your friend.
I know "enthusiast" are not going to be happy with my comment, but I wished it came with an automatic. new automatics are much quicker and yes I know how to drive a stick but for me traffic is a nightmare in i4 Florida
