Setting tile can be a fun part of bathroom remodeling. I want to give you 4 suggestions on how to go about tiling a shower wall:
1. Start on the back wall of your shower so that the corner grout joint is hidden from sight when entering the shower. This will make it easier for cutting corner tiles and not having to be super accurate. I like to use a manual tile cutter for these cuts
2. Always start out with less than a full tile on the first row of tile. This allows you to be more accurate and scribe cut the first row to meet shower pan evenly. It also prevents large gaps from one end of shower to the other, if the shower pan isn’t 100% level
3. Fold the wall tile into corners. This provides a continuous look with a staggered tile pattern
4. Use a tile leveling system to keep tiles inline with each other and reduce lippage. One of my favorite systems is perfect level master t-lock. It’s a wedge and clip system that allow you to keep tiles flush with one another. Had a super strong clip that allows for a lot of tension

Clip a thon and it still will not fix a bowed tile.
