If you’re looking for somewhere interesting to visit in Jakarta, I’d recommend the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. It might be a better option than going to the top of Monas, especially since the line can get quite long and you need to pay. The library is actually the 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, and you can see places like the Presidential Palace and various museums around Monas from there.
You could also visit Istiqlal Mosque if you have enough time. It’s the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, and they have free guided tours where you can learn about the mosque’s history.

And of course, while you’re there, don’t forget to try Bakmi GM and some local favorites like Obihiro Nikudon, etc. So many good things to eat around there! 😋👍
