📕She wanted 3 years for her ex—I called Mom to cancel the wedding, but she found me a new bride!

📖 Story Synopsis:
Three days before the wedding, my fiancée walked out of the hospital.
In her hand was a surgical report, her face filled with a tragic determination.
“He’s dead. I’m going to mourn him for three years. The engagement is off.”
She had terminated our child.
And then she left without looking back.
I stood there in silence for three seconds.
Then I took out my phone and called my mother.
“Mom, can we cancel the wedding banquet?”
There was a two-second silence on the other end.
Then my mother roared, as if she had just lost a son:
“Cancel? Do you know how much lobster costs per kilo right now?!”
“What about the bride then?”
“You wait! The granddaughter of my park chess friend is still single!”
The wedding went on.
We just changed the bride.
Three years later, when my ex-fiancée pushed open my front door, my daughter in my arms had just learned how to call me “Dad.”

  1. Wao, no epic romance, a lot of nonsense, and too much stuff which can make people rethink the definition of sanity. However, it was a good story. More healthy and wonderful than many.

  2. Everything was alright but when his ex bad mouthed his wife, he chose to ignore it. And avoided cruelty. His mom stepped up to fight back. So what kind of man are you let your ex insult your wife publicly and chose to keep quite and just address it as venting!!!

  3. Holy…
I know the lobster thingy is for practical (use of money) and comedic touch but really? How can the mother (also the female antagonist) can easily forget that one life is already extinguished by the time the phone was made? Really? The first practical one that comes to mind is the lobster and not "Holy sh*t, a murder just happened!"

  5. The picture of the baby right after birth in the hospital. A full-grown man, hilarious. But it fits the story, This story is great. Holly is total foodie
Their daughters' first word is perfect * veru fitting for a girl. Not Dad, not Mom, WANT while pointing her little finger at the fridge. LoL

  6. Damn practical wisdom.."I don't dig for answers unless absolutely necessary cause answers are usually not pleasant". This story is full of quotable parts 😅😂
